Kattvinge's Ran 27 as needlework WIP by badgersoph Kattvinge's Ran 27 as needlework WIP by badgersoph
This is a collaborative effort: Kattvinge has permitted me to use their fractal design for needlework. Looney bin, here I come!

You can see a fair amount of blending (single strands of one or more colors added to two threads of another) in the needle painting on the pearl, and some different texture stitches for the background.

I get bored very easily: once I have mastered a certain style of design I have to find something new. If you go to my gallery and look for the folder "Quilted Robe Completed" you'll see what I did last. That took two years!

I don't master things quickly so I'm easily entertained I suppose ;)

You underestimate yourself. How long it takes to master something is not a measure of the ease with which you are entertained. I'm plenty easily entertained (unless you think that watching your cat tear aimlessly around the room is complex entertainment). If it takes you a long time to master something it means that you are devoted to your work!

Given that I've watched my rabbit fight many a things I'm not one to weigh in on watching cats :D

What sort of rabbit? My best friend has a miniature Dutch, who is the Undisputed Queen of the Household.

I'm not sure, she's a rescue bunny. They thought she was a velveteen rex.

Apparently there are many rescue bunnies out there: my best friend's bunny is also a rescue. :D

That kind of says it all. :)

So you were able to see where the stitching was? I printed the whole thing on iron-on inkjet paper and then applied that to cotton (which is why it's backwards: I forgot to flip the image). So essentially I am stitching on top of your design!

Yes, I looked at the downloaded image.. But even if it's flipped it looks really good :D
