A Contest? For a personalized poem from Peter?!What's better than a book by Peter S Beagle? How about a book by Peter, inscribed with a poem written just for you?
We want to make sure we get the word out to everyone about Peter's birthday screening of The Last Unicorn at The Castro on 4/20. Each time you share this post, we'll put your name in a raffle. The winner will be chosen on 4/21. Not only will one fan get to pick a Peter S. Beagle title of their choice, Peter will inscribe it with a poem containing either a theme or a name chosen by the winner!

Glad Lilla Jul! (Happy 'small- or pre'- Christmas)I have absolutely nothing of importance to say. Testing out a new journal skin in case I decide I want to change...
And I had forgot how good homemade hamburgers can be... spent almost the whole day yesterday making bread, minced meat steaks, garlic mayo, creme brûlée, etc... and then we ate it with some friends in the evening. When you can't buy things ready made in the shop you have to be creative and make everything yourself, and the result is much better because of that, even if it is time-consuming...I really need to get a small blow torch though, or whats it name... our owen's grill is total crap for getting the sugarcoat decent on the creme brûlée...
And because I have nothing interesting to tell you, maybe you can enjoy some of my favorites from my traditional-bird-folder in stead;

First off, I am pleased to announce that :iconShatiel85: caught my 456.789 views kiriban and sent me a screenshot. So the green ruffles will be on their way to Italy shortly! Congratulations, and sorry to everyone who tried and missed by a narrow margin.
Also I have to apologize for being out of touch for a couple of days - I was on a family visit back home and without internet. Normal business will resume as quickly as possible, especially if I owe you any answers to notes and emails!

Artisan Crafts / Needlework / Cross Stitch & Embroidery

This is a collaborative effort: Kattvinge has permitted me to use their fractal design for needlework. Looney bin, here I come!

You can see a fair amount of blending (single strands of one or more colors added to two threads of another) in the needle painting on the pearl, and some different texture stitches for the background.

I get bored very easily: once I have mastered a certain style of design I have to find something new. If you go to my gallery and look for the folder "Quilted Robe Completed" you'll see what I did last. That took two years!

You underestimate yourself. How long it takes to master something is not a measure of the ease with which you are entertained. I'm plenty easily entertained (unless you think that watching your cat tear aimlessly around the room is complex entertainment). If it takes you a long time to master something it means that you are devoted to your work!
