Guardians

Another in the series of paintings of the stone circle at Four Quarters Farm. That's my daughter Emily sleeping in front of the three stones members raised last August.

Sleeping in the stone circle was definitely an experience. First we were swarmed by daddy longlegs, then the farm dogs investigated us, then we were awakened by the wailing of alarmed cows probably being menaced by coyotes. The next morning Emily told me that she had dreamed that the fairies had come to invite us to their party...

...I had dreamed the same thing.
